I have this outboard but last time i used it it work for half hour and then nothing!
I found out that the primer button had a leak and i purchased a carb repair kit because i thought it was a nice opportunity to overhaul the complete carb rather than just change the primer diaphragm!
Although i change all gasket including the fuel pump diaphragm i can't make the engine start!
I also change the spark plugs but nothing!
When i remove the spark plug, pull the rope for 5-6 times, replace the spark plug and try to start it again, it start for 1 second and it stops again!
Any idea why is this happens???
Thank you!

Basic troubleshooting,

after rechecking for adequate spark and compression, disconnect the fuel line from the carb, squeeze the primer until you get a solid stream of fuel, no air, pull the starter rope and observe for fuel pump working.

If good then again remove the carb, recheck assembly of float/needle. recheck main and idle jets and passages using a spray carb cleaner, you want to see that the liquid passes thru the passages.

I have clean all the passages with compressed air three times!
But i will try one more time!
How can i check the spark?

Look like i found what is the problem! Probably is not the carburator but the sealing of the reed valve's manifold.
I remove the reed manifold and found out that the rubber seal was missing a part. That means there is no air tightness among the 2 crank shaft chambers! I will change it and post again the results!

finally i took the spare parts for the reed manifold!
The engine started with the 3rd pull of the manual starter!
I adjust the idle while on neutral and in gear and now the engine is "singing" like a canary!!!
