Show her your open hand and say "Don't make me ball this up"
I'd buy the engine and drive and hang onto to it but you can always change your mind and sell for a profit later. It's like money in the bank...
there is nothing wrong with the one that is in the vip I am just thinking about the future dont want to have to spend an ungodly amount of money if something happens to the engine or outdrive that is in the vip
I thought the cobras after 94 were Volvo drives or a volvo would work on them or something along those lines?
Seeing as its too late, "May the Force be with You"![]()
not to Hijack but I have one question, Why in the world are we all afraid of our Wives WOW, we all do our best not to rock the boat. Who made them the captain anyway? Just thought I'd ask lol
which should be a 4.3, but also should be compatible with a volvo drive. Why is he so concerned about parts availablity if this is a volvo drive? Is the transom assembly different? Engine parts? I thought at this point the drivetrain has 100% volvo parts availablity. Also, if the donor he is talking about buying was built before 94 would it even work on his 98 'omc' drivetrain?I recently purached a 1998 vip valliant 185 i/o with a 4.6l v6 and cobra out drive.
This is true. Can you clarify what you really have. 1998 4.6 omc??? What year is the donor boat?
opps typo the vip is a 1988 the doner boat is also a 1988 They both have omc cobras and 4.3 v-6s chevrolet dont know if they are labled mercruiser or omc neither are fuel injected
Now that makes sensePlease disregard my brain-fart.
