I just found out it has a 4.3. The boat and trailer look brand new really i mean it. Its sitting in a huge building. The guy who has it completly washes the whole boat and trailer everytime he uses it. The boat is about three hours away but I think its worth the ride. Does anybody want to buy a 79 riviera with a merc 650? lol has a brand new trailer extra foot with stainless prop.... boat needs work though. lol 600.00

Ok I finally was able to look at the boat in person today. it is a 1999 sx 175 with a 3.0. the people who own just pay for it to be kept up and all they do is use it. They dont even fuel it up..lol Anyway it comes with a bimini top. Its a 4 bow with an extension that snaps down to the windshield. It has a bow cover that snaps in place. The boat and trailer both look very well taken care of. There is a little wear and tear. But overall a nice boat.. The only thing I really noticed is the fact that it is dirty and could use a buffing. Thanks

Seems like a very fair price. I just bought a 98 glastron SX175 with a 4.3L for $4500. NADA listed my 98 for about $5300 but i dont think my glastron sounds as clean as yours. If its a 3.0L and you want to pull skiers I would water test it and make sure it has the power you want. If it does i think its a good deal.

what size prop is on your 98?It doesnt have tabs or hydrofoil on it.. i think im going to get the smart tabs. I think im going to go get the boat this weekend?
I asked if he was firm on the price and he dropped it to 3k without a fight at all..

The boat pulls awesome for a 4 banger. Im running a 19p at 48 mph (the speedo is probably off a bit) with my son and I and a full tank of gas. It jumps out of the water after about three seconds.. Its pretty nice but it could be bigger....lol true boater huh

4.3 and that boat good combo. just so it does not have Bat Wing exhaust manifolds. it is time to replace the manifolds and bellows if they have not been recently done.
