Are you sure you don't already have it? I was under the impression that was standard equipment from about 98 and up.

Your impression is right. All Bravo series drives come from Mercruiser with the Mercathode system. (My 1997 had it, so it was standard even before 1998) A galvanic isolator is not part of Mercathode, but is a VERY good thing to have if you are keeping the boat plugged into Shore Power all the time.
