Do I need a new fuel pump?

Hello,

I have a 1982 checkmate with a chevy 305 in it and just got a 600 cfm holley four barrel carburetor and an edelbrock aluminum intake to install on the engine. I am wondering if the stock fuel pump will work with these upgrades, or if I will need a more powerful one in order to get enough fuel to the engine. I'm not sure what the GPH is for a stock mercruiser fuel pump. Can anyone tell me what the standard GPH is, and if I will need a stronger pump? Any help is appreciated.

My new Holley 600 flooded with a (standard) mechanical (ford) marine fuel pump and needed a regulator for the holley set at 6psi.
You don`t need to up-boost the fuel pump.

Is the carburetor going to be too big? The engine is also getting a performance exhaust and has a performance cam in it...

Yes it's a holley Marine carb. Center riser-through transom exhaust, 4 inch diameter. Not sure what size cam, I was told by the previous owner that it was an aftermarket racing cam.... does that help?
