Merc 1400 tilt/trim swap

I wanna put the evinrude 85hp on the glastron while I figure out what is wrong with the Merc 1400. Whats it gonna take to install the tilt/trim onto the evin??? I havent even compared the two yet, so just trying to get an idea of the headache I'm in for.

A Merc trim wont fit a Johnson/Evinrude....

If you can make it fit without spending a lot of $$ and cobbing together, you can make a BOAT LOAD of $$$ as this is what kills the older 1977 and earlier Johnrudes..
