Finally, Miller wins Gold in the Super Combined after a blistering slalom run. For the last two Olympics he has been the skier you loved to hate because he was such a jerk. None the less, he always had an admirable kamakazi way about him that made you want him to win. Now he has. Bronze, Silver and GOLD!

Go Bode!!! You are da man!

Now let's keep our fingers crossed for Apolo Ohno! He has two races left. The 5000 meter relay and the 500 meter free for all. Will he do it?

I've ski'd with Bode, Joe Cartier (bode's old coach), Olympian Pam Fletcher, Glen Plake and his wife. Even met Alberto Tomba at Loon years ago.... Something is to be said about Bode, when he's feeling it, he's on his game. He does everything on his own terms.
I ski instruct during the winter, I've met many a personality over the years. His skill set is so freaky, and something you wouldn't think to see in a world class olympian. But he still does it. Ski racing is 49% skill, 49% balls, and 2% luck.

I think the main reason is, Bode finally got serious and concentrated more about skiing than the nightlife at the Olympics......
