Hello everyone. It's very simple to check for electric current in the water around a boat that has a steel or aluminum hull.

But can anyone tell me a process for checking for electric current around a boat that has a fiberglass hull?

Some of that doesn't make any sense.

The part about ground being hooked to the neutral.

Sub panels have a separate ground bar but in the main panel the neutral and grounds are all tied together and to your ground rods.

Take a look at your home electrical box, the ground and neutral (white wire) are attached to the same block. Possibly two blocks but attached just the same. That is standard procedure in all homes.

Curious if your electrodes are kept in check wont that resolve any issues?

Im a comercial inside wireman. where grounding is of the utmost. all grounding, neuterals, and Isolated grounds all end up common eventually.
