Is there a minimum temp the bellows adhesive can be used at?

I am planning on replacing the u-joint bellows and was wondering how warm it needs to be.....

Probably won't be for a few weeks......we just got about a foot of snow last night....but I'm getin real itchy!!!!

If the tube is frozen solid, you know it is too cold. :D

It can be a knucklebuster of a job... your better waiting until it's warm... your hands won't hurt so much after :)

By march, it'll be in the high 80's where I live. 74 degrees today.

Re: Bellows Replacement

i didn't find the bellows to be as much a knuckle buster as i find it takes extreme strength in your fingers to get the bellows to expand enough to slide into the proper position.
the warmer the new bellow are, the more pliable i think they will be... keep them inside till yer ready to do the deed i'd think in cool weather..

hope everything goes well for ya..
