new member with project

hi there, i am a new member and have just aquired a project boat. the only info i have is from a plate that is riveted onto the stern of the boat saying "hemming & morris". i have took a few pics and was wondering if anyone has any more info on this boat.

I cant help you with any more info about the boat but I must say you will be starting from scratch! (as most of us have)
I can see a merc tower of power hanging off the back of that puppy. That thing would fly!!

cool boat, dont know anything about it, would look really good w/ tower on it tho, looks fast in that condition. i see a big cloud of white dust in your future,
i just went thru all that and do not envy you, by a good respirator and do as much in one sitting with junk clothes or a white suit and trash them when done. course i probly got a few more clouds in my future here as well.

i found a company called hemming & morris on the internet that are shopfitters, so i sent them an email. the guy replied telling me that they made boats in the 70's but that was as much info as he had.
