Which new prop for 11ft Whaler?

I need a new prop for my '75 Evinrude 25hp Model 25552B. I can't read the number on my old one but according to the Evinrude parts site, the part no. for a std. is 383629. Should that std. prop be ok for a 11ft whaler that I normally use in the bay or at lakes? Thanks!

Your 1975 motor shipped new with a 9 X 10, 3 Blade aluminum prop #383629. That propeller is superseded by #0763583, available from your BRP/Evinrude dealer : http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/Find-a-Dealer

They are also available after market in different pitch/ diameter combinations.

That whaler is a heavy boat for its size; I would not go higher in pitch than what you have.
