WOT stalling

i have a 2005 honda 90hp i have had the motor for about 8 mounts it has always had a problem when i am puting it on the trailer it has always staled out when i am trying to run it up the bunks on the trailer like when it is under any kind of strain it stals now i am having the problem when i run WOT it starts to stall does anyone have any ideas of what kind of problem i have

Sounds like a fuel problem .. more throttle engine needs more fuel . Also check timing , little or no advance can have the same effect. I would start there .

I agree with a fuel problem. My honda carburetor book states that the most likely cause for this symptom is restricted or plugged main jet(s). Since you have 4 carbs, i'd advise a overhaul/rebuild of all of them to ensure you get the faulty one(s). Then a synchronization of all 4 is required to ensure they equally share the load throughout all speed ranges.

to synchroniz the carbs i need the set of vacume gauges corect? if so any idea where to get them?

You might ask your local marine dealer or Honda dealer. I've heard of others using motorcycle vacuum gages, but don't know how well or if they worked.
