Do you have your boat cover vented in some manner that reduces heat build up, eliminates dampness, and reduces the chance of mildew?

I'm interested in venting my cover for those reasons and would like to know what my fellow iboaters have done (or tried and found didn't work).

Vented pole works for me...as pictured above. I only have one.

Thanks Expidia and Philster, I'd seen that style vent but didn't know how well it worked. Sounds like you both have had success with it. The concept makes sense. It is at a high point (or several high points if more than one is used) since the moist hot air rises it would escape through the vent. The vent is shaped in a manner to keep out rain.

I'm going to set a pair of them up on my rig.

I just had a new custom cover made and they used the pole vents like Philster....

In the past I have just had a canvas flap over a screened hole, that didn't work very well.
