Re: battery charger

Could be your battery died and the charger is refusing to charge it.

Re: battery charger

Do you still have the owners manual? What does it say about the "quick blinking" status?

Re: battery charger

didnt keep owners manual and had trouble finding online---however, I found 3 inline fuses that dint appear to be blown BUt I replaced anyway and still got blinks at first ----but I left it blinking while I checked a couple other lines and all of a sudden it quit blinking and went to charging status----so Im waiting to see what happens-----

I have 4 lights----power( on solid now), charging ( on solid now), float(off), and go fish( off)-----I am checking in the am to see but usually overnight would charge both batteries so I expect to see all 4 lights on in the am----otherwise, Im pulling the batteries and checking individually--

I think my mistake was not just leaving it plugged in all winter. The float feature is supposed to make that a safe practice but I cant seem to make myself leave a battery plugged in all winter---we'll see

Re: battery charger

The charger is a lot smarter than you give it credit for. Mine has been plugged in since November. If you feel uncomfortable leaving it plugged in, put it on a timer and set it for one hour each day.
