Toon swim platforms - Alternatives?

Ok, so I am looking at the boat and how the O/B is mounted and a full swim platform is not going to work. I don't care much for the small platforms that mount to the side of the engine and aren't much more than a place to stand. Sooo...

I am curious if anyone makes a side mounted platform for a toon? One that would mount at the side entrance gate and could fold up out of the way when not in use? I looked on the web but didn't see anything like that so maybe there is a reason its a bad idea?

Any thoughts or insights?

Fold up platforms are generally a bad idea when you consider people standing on them. Not sure how you would structurally secure it to accomodate the weight of people and still make it fold away. I've not seen anything like that.

Not sure about a fold out but there are some neat inflatables out there.

Really can't help with the swim platform, unless ya want to move fence and furniture or buy a new pontoon.

^^^ that's what I was thinking. A pontoon IS a swim platform. :p

Looks nice. Not sure how I feel about the lost lounging space, but the deck is nice.

I understand. 95% of the time it is just the Bosslady and myself and the other 5% is just 2 to 3 others with room to spare. So space isn't an issue.

4 drink holders by the Engine and remote stereo control make it a floaters dream.

I really like that! Is that something you did, or was it bought that way?

Stock. We saw it February of last year at our local boat show and as I have an affinity towards different looking boats, it got my attention. Then, we really got serious about buying, looked at several other manufacturers and dealers, but this guy was really willing to deal as he was getting ready to order the 2010 models. Besides the rear deck, it also has rear-facing lounges in the back and a movable seat that I can place either at the front or rear fence area. Granted I loose a gate, but if I have to, I can leave it at he dock.

So far so good. I only wish that I could have gotten my e-Tec, but it was already rigged for the Honda and the cost to convert wasn't really worth the extra $$.
