Refurbing my 61 gale 5hp oops question

Got my impeller changed fired it up and runs pretty good then it would stop. Noticed my fuel line bulb not staying hard so I would pump it up and it would run some then quit. So I go to take fuel pump apart and I loosend it and I went to seperate it with my hands and it flew open and stuff in it flew everywhere. Can someone explain or give me a diagram of how it goes back together once I get a new diaphram. I will include pics of what all parts I found. Oh and While I was running it a drip of water would come out by head gasket about every couple of minutes. Do I need to replace the head gasket? I think I know the answer but I dont want to pull the block again. Thanks for any info. Mettyfish

Where is the rest of the pump? Parts are no longer available and they are not supposed to be repairable, but it can be done with a bit of inginuity. The kind with the rubber flapper valves isn't worth messing with. Get a new pump here at iboats.

Go to the Iboats store, look under motor parts...fuel pumps.

Most likely listed under E/J 5.5 hp I don't believe there is a Gale listing.
