85 hp spark question

I have a 1979 85 hp evinrude that is only getting a spark on cylinders 2 and 4
I'm about to pull the rest of my hair out so any help or advise would be great.

Should be easy to diagnose. Your year crossflow has a pair of power packs in the ignition system, one for each head. They are both the same power pack. Swap the two power packs and see if the spark moves to the head with cyls 1,3. If it does, replace the bad pack.

also check the coil packs. should be one on each cylinder...

thank you for your help. it was the power pack . replaced it i now have spark on each cylinder.
