Fuel smell is normal?

Hi
Every time when i slow down, I can smell the fuel very strong. Or if on slow speed the wind behind blows. If open the engine cover, everything is dry. So it is normal?

Fuel smell is never a good thing. Find the source of the smell. Under deck tank was my smell source. I got a new deck and tank out of the deal.

I rebuild all boat 3 or 4 months ago, include gas tank
maybe it is runs too rich?
