Hello could you please tell me if this engine has points or what. Thinking about buying this outboard from a friend and would like to know your opinions. Before I buy this engine. Looks to be in good shape. Thank you...

Solid-State ign, a great running motor, replace the impeller if it hasn't been done in the last year or so!
