Looks like a nice little resto project. The hull looks in great shape. With some work that could be a nice ride.

It is about a boat and it is in the general forum so I say he is okay as long as he tells us how much he paid for the boat.

When I see a thread I don't like I just don't comment, works pretty well.

That is nice little boat Lyn-Craft, so how much did we give????

Around here you'd get $1500-2000 for a little boat like that. Dunno about Florida, so I am guessing about $800.

O.K. ENS Kevin, this is for you...

Drum roll please............................................................................

$600.00

Thanks for playing everybody it was fun!

This is a 1962 17' Lyn-Craft Seabreeze "rambler". It has ALWAYS been garage-kept and is truly in excellent shape. The trailer is the original 1962 Murray tilt and the motor is the original 1962 Kiekhaefer Merc450. This is a real classic. A matched set, boat-motor-trailer-all 1962!

The boat was made in Sarasota by John Baerveldt (I think-not confirmed yet) and the trailer in Tampa by Ray Murray. My high-school sweetheart?s dad worked for Ray Murray in Lakeland where we grew up-I?ve stayed at his home in the Bahamas. It was a one-owner (I am 2nd), not registered since 1988.

The boat is solid-I cannot find any soft spots or rot. It has a few minor cosmetics as one would expect but nothing major-very minor oxidation which should look like new after compound, polish, wax. Rub-rail is in excellent shape, windshield is clear. Transom is perfect, vinyl upholstery is flawless. I really cannot find anything wrong with the boat-can you?

Nice. I love old boats. I had a '65 Silverline that looked alot like that one. Fixed her up and sold her for alot more than I paid to buy my current project.

HA! that's nice...... Some mod came in and deleted the comments i was referring to and edited mine.... making ME look like the jerk (I'm sure whoever it was didn't mean to though)... There were a couple newbs who thought they should pop in with things like "if you paid more than 60 cents it was too much" and "I wouldn't give 19 cents"....

My comment was "are we gonna talk about boats or trade taunts and insults"

I had nothing against the OP.. lol.... Guess I should have quoted the insults I was referring to..... Oh well
enjoy ur new ride:)
