Turn the throttle to the lowest speed setting and if it's still running, pull out the choke. That's about all there is to kill the Beast.
Later models had a kill switch and you could retro-fit one to your motor. You'd need to mount a switch to the motor cowling; drill a hole in the magneto plate (or perhaps you'll find an empty hole already there); install a rubber grommet and route a pair of wires inside the plate, one wire connected to each set of points (where the condenser wire and coil wire screw onto the points). The kill switch will electrically connect both points together and this'll kill spark.
