Woohoo! Easter on the water 2010!

Well last summer I didn't get the boat out till May 30th!! This year it was today, April 4th!! What an amazing day! I swear I was nice and warm all day long!! Here's some pics of me and the parents celebrating Easter Sunday on the water!

Yup. I was out today as well. First time with a new (to me) boat.
On the Hudson River in the Hudson valley.

I also spent some of Easter on the water...

Today the misses and I went for a cruise on the Potomac in Western Maryland. A few boats out but very quiet. I'm not complaining about that.

Yep, we are truly blessed this year. Got our first ride in on April 2nd, and got a wakeboard session going on April 3rd, it's got to be a record for the Ottawa Region, water was at 43 degrees...ouch. Thank god for my dry suit!

Hmm...lets see...nope. Took the whole day to clear out the garage enough to even find my boat. Although I did get her out on the street...soon...very soon. If the weather holds like this then definately next weekend.

But my garage is spotless!

had me a gorgeous day too, though i don't think it got to 70*. sunny and a high in the upper 60's with a breath of breeze.

biggest issue i had was going around all the pelicans. my goodness. the whole 2k sq. acre lake was covered with them. so many i couldn't count them... i had me a good 1st outing too. my engine stayed cool, started right up and i achieved my wot spec of 4300. what more could i ask for... glad your first outing was a success too.

Very jealous indeed. It looks like a great day to be on the water.

Here in Central Oregon, we are dealing with a after effects of a major storm that blew in last Friday, bringing snow and high winds. It's sill cold here (28 at the moment) and windy. When the weather is going to get stable and warm enough to get out on the boat again, I have no idea

splashed mine Saturday after a week or so in the driveway: power washed the bottom; repainted the metals, raised the paint line, waxed the outside, replaced the livewell pump. Ran it again Easter with some of the family; shorts and T-shirts. An early spring but not unheard-of.

I'm in northwestern PA. I got out on Good Friday, 84 degrees here. The lake (Shenango reservior) was busier than I thought it would be, the main launch was about half full (probably about 35 rigs). Good thing it is at least a three lane ramp, one guy spent about an hour on the ramp messing with his boat.

So jealous! I spent Fri. & Sat. doing spring maint. on the truck & boat getting everything ready. I'm all set to go, but the weekend ended too soon

It's killing me how nice it is outside right now & I'm inside at work. Might need a day off next week if the weather holds
