I need to take out a air valve to get rid of some rocks in my Dinghy. What tool do I need to remove these valves?

Is not a Halkey Roberts Valve, probably a older version used in that sib brand of yours. HR are standard now a days for most inflatables, but some brands as Avon, Zodiac & others uses their own valves, just to drive owners cracy when in need to replace.

You can make a tool out of an old socket. Just notch the socket to fit the slots.

If they dont have HR written in valve are not, they're pattented, others could be reffered only as HR type. On the market you can find others that looks same, no name copies, height central pin is shorter compared to HR and cost about a third, they do work fine, check pictures just to clear the original brand issue. As stated by TG "make a tool out of an old socket. Just notch the socket to fit the slots"

If it is an old style HR valve, yes. That tool fits the old style valve. However, if the valve is newer than a 96( I think that was the year they changed the insert pattern) then no, it won't work....And if it isn't and HR valve it probably won't fit. What kind of boat and what year is it?

Thanks so much for the info...will this wrench work?

Take a bigger and clearer inside valve pictute to have a look, is there any brand written on it ? Your valve seems to be a DJ type valve, will need a socket with many pins to lock inside valve rim, so to turn valve round and out. check pics.

Re: What kind of air valves are these?

Since you have the standard old style HR valve, the tool that you found at West Marine is the correct one.
