Nice tow vehicle Ez... I agree with those stating a tranny radiator is the go, especially in hilly terrain. The tranny rad on my ute is almost as big as the engine rad, mind you it is a hot/humid climate here. Good luck... TII

What nice about adding a trans cooler is that the pressure a trans. operates at is nothing like a fuel line or water pressure. Its some where 5-20psi so the system isn't hard to plumb and you don't spend an arm and a leg doing so.

Well, to be exact, the potential is there for 300+ psi. The thing about the cooler circuit is that the cooler is all about flow. So....as long as there are NO restrictions in the circuit, there is very little pressure. BUT if you install a too-small cooler or have a kink in the line, I assure you the pressure WILL rise quickly especially under load. The key is to have an adequately sized cooler with regards to flow capacity and use intelligent line routing during the installation.
