Hi, Bill here new to the boating world and new to the forum seems really informative.. and hopeing someone can help.. My son and I bought a 1982 baja with a 1982 140 v4johnson outboard, the boat sat for a while so I brought it home drained the gas, cleaned the carbs, put oil in the cyls and spun the engine by hand.. I reinstalled the carbs rebuilt the fuel pump put new thermostats and pressure releif valves in and a water pump kit.., fired her up and she runs pretty good my problem is that water (running on Muffs) is leaking from the mateing surface of the lower unit to the "leg" of the engine .. I am not amechanic but pretty handy and have almost every tool,. I also bought a manuel for johnson outboards "seloc" I dropped the lower uniy again and believe I installed everything correctly scratching my head any help greatly appreciated,, Thanks Bill
