Just bout a 03 Rinker 212 captiva with 5.0mpi merc. i know the mpi has 40 more hp than the regular 5.0 but my question is does it use more fuel or is it just more efficient. thanks for you help
If all was equal, it would need to use more fuel to make more power. But all is not equal between a 2bbl carb and MPI. I'll say it's fuel burn will be very similiar if not exactly the same as the 220hp 5.0 carbed engine.
