Just bought a Mako 20 with twin 70HP Evinrudes. The engines have not been run for a couple of years. when I pulled the plugs on one of the engines, the bottom cylinder
was loaded with fuel. My guess is that either the float is jammed, needle is open and it loaded the cylinder with fuel...or is this a sign of a larger problem or some other problem? Any ideas????

I have the exact same motor...

Mine sat for 10+ years, and did the same thing when i first tried to revive it...

(Bottom carb/cylinder just pouring gas)

It was the float/valve

did a rebuild on all three carbs and no more leaks!

Hope that helps.

(now if i can just figure out my performance issue with mine.... hehe)
