Just had to replace my trim pump, got the whole thing new, pump, motor, and resevoir. Question is, do I just fill it and run it, or do I need to do anything special, any priming involved? This one has no bleed screw, so it bleeds itself running it up and down numerous times right?

Yup!

It will get a little foamy though.....just make up the difference by checking it frequently as the bubbles clear out!

I lost count of the number of them on ebay.......new OEM and after-market!

Cool, thanks for the info!

As for putting it in, it's a piece of cake, but if you've never done it, I would strongly suggest you have or download the manual, and it's super helpful showing how to troubleshoot the system. I had to replace the solenoids last year, and the manual led me right to the problem. This year the pump went, so I found the motor, pump, and resevoir on ebay. I got lucky and got a new OEM unit for $199 w/free shipping. Don't know if you need the whole unit, bracket and solenoids (there are alot of them on the bay too), but here's an aftermarket pump for a good price...
