Hi to all , I'm new to iboats and also new to the boating community, so can someone please help , I just bought a 1986 sea ray seville with a mercruiser 3.0 140 hp took it for a spin in the intracoastal an it was really nice, took for another spin last week and when i came back home and check everything i discover this milky looking oil, so i start reading some of the post and what i found out wasn't looking good for me, now i try to start the engine with a hose conect it to it and see water coming out of the spark plug, by the way engine won't start , any help please they told me it could be a exhaust manifold that is crack. Thank you in advanced.

You have a cracked block probably. I would remove exhaust manifold and start searching.

WITHIN 24 -36 HOURS, any longer and it might be seized already
pull all the plugs and spin the motor , change the oil and filter,,remove the outdrive , start and run the motor with NO WATER for 15 second intervals, let cool and do it a few more times to dry the cylinders and valves. While running fog the motor heavily, remove spark plugs and spray fogger heavily into cylinders , spin motor and do it again.
Remove manifold and inspect for wetness or cracking, replace manifold and elbow/riser.

Why do all that on a 24 year old rig? Time for Rapido

Thanks all of you for that quick response , so prety much just rebuild the engine; that would be the solution, or just try to replace the heads and exhaust manifold and again I'm sorry if i sound stupid is that I'm new to all this.

3 liter merc generally far outlive any hull they are installed in.

With salt in one cylinder(s) in yours, and who knows what else wrong, I wouldn't even consider rebuilding what you have now.
Find a take out from a destryed boat and either drop in yours or have it rebuilt, or there is some guy in FL that everyone here raves about (I am not one of them ) that can supply really cheap rebuilt engines. You will need a new manifold and riser, (your are junk) and tranfer all the bolt ons.
And before you ask, there is no car engine that is even remotely similar to drop in in exchange.

Well I went to rapidomarine yesterday, and brought the heads with me to do a test and test out o.k. , so i check at the same time exhaust manifold test o.k. too , and also the riser o.k. , it was the gasket for the exhaust , put everything together today , now it would crank and crank but wont start , check the carb, o.k., spark o.k. , what else could it be.

that's something i forget to do compression test, before changing the gaskets i was getting 90psi on first , 150 on 2, 60 on 3 , 150 on 4 i going to do it tomorrow now as for the timing i have to pass on that one and take it to someone i don't know how to do it.

No point in worrying about timing with that low compression on No. 1 and 3. Time to go back to Rapido but this time for a new/rebuilt engine.

Have a great day

Rob.
