Looking good, everyone of those pictures looks identical to my Falcon. Got a question for you, are you going to add a vertical piece on that splashwell yet opposite the transom? Reason Im wondering is will the motor have enough room to turn and tilt in the shortened splashwell? Seems mine especially when tilting it up it takes up most of the factory sized area.

Just a little aside.... Hey D.W., I looked at a lot of your photos and noticed a very familiar looking steering wheel in one. Thank you, again; it'll go to very good use once I get my tin can together and running again.

Fantastic work. That's a heck of a nice fishing rig now.

She sure doesn't look like the same boat:D

Great work on the conversion from closed-bow to the perfect little bass rig.

The amount of storage you've added is impressive, how big is the fuel tank?

Love the livewell and controls too, very convenient.

Don't forget to post photos of fish being caught on the new rig!:D

Huron, the fuel tank is 15gal,but i feel i don't need to fill up all tank,i use only 1/4 for my day trip, use less gas than my 25hp and cruise way further.and it does 32MPH.

Re: starcraft hoilday 14 restore

still playing with the jack plate,is hard to find the sweet spot. i don't have water pressure gauge, i am afraid to rise too high, but when not high enough, lot of water flow back to the transom.any advise?

at the first time i am out to test ride, the bow porpoise a lot,i move one of the battery just under my console,no change,my motor does not have power trim,i move the trim pin close to transom but nothing change,so i add a 2 degree transom wedge to make more negative trim, much much better, but in very clam water with WOT ,it still porpoise a little.but not a big deal for me.

Re: starcraft hoilday 14 restore

let me introduce my little idea that may also help with other people,it coast under 5 bucks, this may work on my Motoguide trolling motor,it may also work on other cable steering foot control model,i use a rubber hose connector 1' to 1"1/2 (find in home depot ) and two SS clamp, cut from the middle, put it between the trolling motor shaft bearing, tight the upper clamp as you can, adjust the lower clamp for tension, this will let you control the torque of the steering, even when you set in the WOT,better control in rough water condition.
