Colored ignition wires to letters on switch ????

Hello, I got a 1990 Bayliner 2050 project boat last year & am now just pulling it out & prepping it for a fun in the sun year with the family! I put a 1978 mercury 140hp outboard on it & it has its own ignition in the side mount controls. My problem is the original force in dash ignition switch was missing when I got the boat & so I have no dash lights ect.. The wires are there & I can splice & extend no problem. I bought a used ignition switch off ebay & cant figure out what colors go to what letters? Also does the engine end of this old force harness need to be grounded even though i am not using it. maybe someone can fill in the blanks for me below!

Black- ?
Yellow- S
Purple?
Red w/purple stripe- ?
White- M
White- ?
Green- ?



In the switch I have left I,M,B,C

I tried wiring it up yesterday with some info I read on here, but got nothing.

Nevermind I got it Figured. I finally found an old thread on here with the correct info.
