Hey I just recently got this boat and the owner miss placed the key. The engine is a 70HP Mercury. Where can I find a key switch and how hard is it to change? I talked to a technician and he said it was tough to replace the key switch because everything is soldered. I have a lot of experience soldering with my past job so I don't think that will be a problem. Any suggestion? I really need some help.

I've been trying to remove it and it's really tough. I don't know what to do.

It's on the controller. I finally got the old key switch out today. I had to remove the cables and slide the throttle box apart. The key switch has 5 prongs on it and 6 wires with a set of 2 piggybacked. I called a procraft dealer and he said he had some in stock. So i'll get the new key switch in and try to solder the wires back on. I hope everything goes as planned.
