I have a 2359wa with 5.7 bravo III, The tach goes to 1200 rpm's with key on and when i start it it stays at 1200, with key off goes back to 0. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

I have not had problems with my tach but I have sent 2 faria gauges back to faria for repair/replacement under their lifetime warranty. They charged $15 per gauge for my speedo and volt meter for my 2052. They did not repair them, just sent me new.

does the engine sound like it is actually running that high ? I would bet it is a bad gauge if not
