Rookie wiring Help, Bennett power unit

I bought a used power pole anchor that is powered by a Bennett hydraulic power unit. The power pole did not come with the standard console switch. Instead, I have decided to install a Transom Mounted Tilt Switch from T-H Marine Supply. The switch has three wires to splice into, a wire for up, down and power.

The Bennett power unit has a wire for up, down, positive and negative. From my understanding, I need to structure the switch so that once an up button is pressed, a signal is sent from switch to power unit and once down is pressed, the signal is sent from switch to the down wire on the power unit. My challenge is that a corresponding electrical circuit also needs to be sent to the positive wire on the hydraulic power unit once up or down is pressed.

How do I send a positive circuit back to the positive wire on the power unit as there are only an up and down wire exiting the switch?

I may have incorrectly interpreted the functions of the pump wiring and switch and appreciate your feedback. I am a novice when it comes to wiring so please explain this like you would to your grandmother. Thanks, Tom
