18 ft starcraft HP hull rating

Hi Guys. I am going to take a look at one Aluminum Starcraft bowrider 18 ft. There is no picture for the ad, but owner says that there is a split windshield (walk through), 4 seats and hull rated for 85 hp.
It is quite a distance and guy has no camera to make pictures, so I am trying to identify if that is SS model or not. He thinks it is early 80's boat.

What confuses me is the hull rating for 85 hp. I thought that it would be something in 125hp range.

I just do not want to drive 350 km and find a fishing boat.
What do you guys think?

Ask for a photo of the data plate. Here is the one from my 16' SS Yes an 18 is rated higher.

Sylvan and perhaps Crestliner make a model like the SS as well.

My 18' 1969 Starcraft Holiday is rated for 125 Hp. max.

I got it! It is 18 Starcraft SS. For whatever reason it is rated for 85 hp max. Buti would not get a bigger motor for it anyways.

EDIT: Mistery solved! It is not 18 ft, it is 16. I am really happy now, since I really needed 16 - it will fit in the garage better!
