The reverse lock is on the shift cable. The pump itself will work but I believe it has different size fittings on it. You might try a search. I remember this question being asked/answered before.

I just found this reply from a different thread:

The old Prestolites were high pressure, low volume. The Oildynes are low pressure, high volume.

Not that easy to change, especially on the older engines that never had large capacity cylinders made for them. It's all about surface area of the (trim cylinder) piston and pressure giving x kilograms of lift. Small cylinder and low pressure will not lift the engine...

Does this mean I would need to replace the trim cylinders if I install this new pump too?
