i have a number of michigan propellers. I know what they fit, but they do not have any pitch or diameter information on them. They have part #'s but I have been having a hard time finding information for them. Anyone know of a good source?

Re: Michigan propeller help. Where to find info???

Those are serial (lot) numbers, not propeller model numbers.
The SMC # is not a Mi Wheel Marine serial #
The J25 appears to be a Hall & Stavert serial #. Made in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is probably a Hy-Torq design.
H&S is now closed and all manufacturing there has been moved to the Michigan Wheel plant in Grand Rapids Michigan.

The actual part #'s for Mi Wheel propellers are at least 6 digits.

i.e. Part # 350125 is a 17" diameter, Left Hand rotation,21 pitch, Bronze, Michigan Dyna Quad style, 4 blade, with 1.25" standard taper keyway.

Need more info to help you out.

Both propellers say "michigan" on the hub and then have those #'s and nothing else.......

Re: Michigan propeller help. Where to find info???

The smc 55 was originally bought for use on a 1958 evinrude 35hp, the j 25 (I looked again and it may be jc 25 but if there is a c it is realy hard to make out) was on a 1974 evinrude 15 hp.

I also have a michigan PJ 83. This one looks like it is for an OMC mid range or v4 application.

I have been able to identify 2 of these, the only one I absolutely can't find is the SMC 55.

The JC25 (PJ25) should be a 9-1/2" x 10 Alum. 3 blade. it fits 9.9 to 15HP Johnson Evinrude 1974 to 1976.
