Would like to know how to hook-up the 3\8 rubber hose from sterndrive impeller, does it feed back to housing from discharge? Could not locate this part in manual.
The hose is there to release trapped air when the drive is submerged, it just routes to an empty cavity of the casing, some impeller housings don't even use the tube, theres just a tiny hole.
When the pump is working there will be sufficient flow ample enough that it will overcome the bleed.
