I have a 1996 Johnson 150 that is not coming out of the hole like it should. It just started this the last time I took it out. It takes way too long for it to get on plane. I noticed it running about 3-5 mph slower when it was at full throttle. Also, I had a HotFoot installed and it worked fine the previous two times I ran the boat. If anyone has some suggestions as to why my boat will not get the power to get out of the hole and on plane I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Have someone hold the hot foot all the way down and look to see if the carbs are openning all the way. If not make ajustments to cable.

If carbs are opening all the way, next I would do a compression check to make sure you did not drop a piston. If thats ok fuel and electical next.
