70 hp carb

Need help on adjusting carb. Already installed new needle and bowl gasket. Can't get it to stay running long enough to adj. Any thoughts?

First thought is that I am good, but not a mind reader! I suspect it is a newer Force with a single carb but you need to tell us the year and other particulars.
