I just recently purchased a 73 Artistocraft Nineteen with a 140. The boat was devoid of any seats and needs some work. The motor runs good and the hull isn't in bad shape. Right now I'm trying to figure out why forward won't engage until the throttle is opened all the way up.

Thank you and I will get some pics as soon as possible. Where is the "adult" section as I didn't see it listed?

Thanks for the info cedarjunki. After looking at some of the pics of others nineteens I'm almost embarrassed to show any pics of mine. But then again I paid $200 cold hard cash for boat and trailer.

no problem....
nothing to be embarrassed about!!! 99.9% of the boats start out here as a pile of parts and look like they sat in the dump pile for years.... but the end results are amazing!

besides, taking pics now could help you as well as someone else in the future.
and also lets us see the minor differences between the years, in the original state.

so have fun and get to work on it :)

Got the shifting sorted out finally and got her all back together. Got something that resembles seats. While not exactly like the factory ones they will hold my behind. It appears that the factory ones have much wider seats then you can seem to buy anywhere. Maybe the fine folks from Aristocraft that come on this board will donate a nice set to me. :D Ok I won't hold my breath BUT I'm willing to accept them either way.

Got to finally take her out (sorry no pics yet but working on that). Right now it appears to have an issue with the carb as it stumbles bad when you try to take off but once she gets going it does well. Anybody happen to know the top speed of one of these boats with the 140 on it? I never opened it all the way but took it to about 4000 rpm and it seemed to be moving at a good clip.
