Good Southeast Boating Locations

I am new to the southeast, and am looking for some good lakes. Where are some popular locations for me to take my MasterCraft out for some quality skiing and wakeboarding?

You want lakes with or without water- I think you need to be more specific- the SE covers a very large area, have you considered the ocean?

How far are you willing to travel?

Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee all have some very nice lakes ....
