Took the youngest fishing last night ...

She is doing real well, taking care of the fish, baiting her own hook, casting (and not into the trees) etc. Her patience is even improving.

Last night she hooked a really nice rock bass ... about 1.5 pounds! She was so excited, it was the biggest fish she has caught in her short fishing career ... so much fun to see so much excitement ... I was just glad I had the camera along!

Come on..... that's not the same beautiful girl I met 5 years ago!!! Wow, she will be asking for car keys soon. I just have a hard time when I see other peoples kids grow..... I always pictured her and that tiny girl now she has grown..... and can fish too!!

Nice! you should have that fish mounted. Not too many can say they caught a rock bass that big.

I bet she remembers that one for a while, those rock bass are feisty little critters! Congrats to her, sounds like a fun time!
