SportJet serial number

I hope I am in the correct forum but, I have a 1994 Mercury SportJet 90 and am looking for the serial number on the power head. I cannot find it. Does anyone know where the serial number is located?

I have the same thing. I think it is under the flywheel cover. Its only about 1" square sticker. Once the cover is off you will find it stuck to the top of the block. I will look again tonight and let you know if its in a different place, since I have my flywheel off, sould be easy to see.
