Outdrive lowers, won't raise - Help!

I have an Alpha 1 from '88. Last season, the outdrive did raise and lower fine with one episode where the up switch didn't seem to work. Today, as I was trying to raise it, it didn't come up. No pump motor noise at all. When I lowered it, it went down fine but now it won't come up. Suggestions? Idea's? I really need to get this in the water ASAP and this came as a suprise! The trailer button didn't work either.

Sounds like you could have a bad switch, i would remove the leads to the switch then do an ohms test on both your switchs

Jumper the switch terminals. If she trims up, its the switch.
