I am trying out a 1987 Mark Twain Cuddy Cabin with a Mercruiser 205 this weekend to potentially purchase. It has been winterized so there were 2 plugs and 2 hoses disconnected. I can only find the location of one of the water plugs. Does anyone have a diagram by chance? Found the passenger side plug.
Does this boat have any really typical red flags or concerns? First boat, for family, kind of nervous. THANKS!!!!

It's a 205 v6. Only 2 are pulled. Can't find one of them on the starter side. Any diagrams available? Any opinion on this boat, engine?

Re: Mercruiser 205 water plugs

Never heard of a Mercruiser 205, got a Mercruiser serial number handy? Should be on a tag just above the starter if it's a GM engine.

EDIT: Shame on me, should have checked first. It's a 4.3L V6.

Should be a plug on each side of the block and 1 on the bottom of each exhaust manifold.

205 is 4BBl V6. Good engine, as long as it isn't freeze cracked or overheated severly.
