normal water pressure 150 evinrude

I am in the process of ordering a water pressure gauge for my 1998 evinrude 150.Do I need a 0-30 psi or a 0-60 psi? Nowhere can I find info regarding this. Any help is appreciated.

I'd opt for the 0-30 lb gauge.

Thanks for the opinion.Seems strange there's nothing in my seloc manual regarding water pressure specs. Don't want to order the wrong Faria gauge.

I think around 30 is top expected psi at WOT

Rude, My '98 Johnny 150HPV6 pegs my 0-30 PSI gauge are high speed.

It will be more difficult to determine just what the pressure is at idle with a 0-60 lb gauge.

I really hate it when something worthwhile like that chart is posted and my motor isnt there!!!!!!!!!!

the eagle V4 motors from the mid 90's on, like my 1995 115 ocean runner V4 60 degree looper.

my motor doesnt seem to peg my 30 lb gauge but it gets close at WOT

Good thing that this thread was not about your motor.

Maybe you should let Teleflex know. They have not updated that chart since 2007, so maybe they would do it now.
