I think the yellow top 225 Yamaha would fit that nicely. It would then scare the crud out of me before you started it. Cool little boat man.

yes,,, it definitely needs a bigger prop... i dont remember exactly what pitch it is (either 11 1/2" or 12 1/2")... but it looks like the only bigger size available is a 13 1/2"...

i gps'd it in light chop at only 36mph but the punch to top end is pretty quick (makes for good wave jumping )

i dont have a tach for it yet,, but it seems a little high with the current prop... (could be the reason it blew,,, but who knows)

We've had a MAJOR overhaul to the Forum's format. LOT's of changes. You will have to Re-Link all of your Pics. If they are NOT there you will have to re load them. I KNOW.... It sucks!!!! I had to do mine too!!!!!

got it all edited,,, thankfully most of the pictures were still there (where, i dont know) lol

i dont think i'll be sticking with the force motor... my nephew has a 2cyl evinrude 60 on his mx-15 in exchange for redoing the wood in it... (part of the deal is him doing the hull grinding )

ALOT more prop options with that motor

Did you ever figure out what the little boat is? I have a 1969 GW Invader 10 foot 3 inch mini shown in my avitar and it has vague similaritys but I do not think it was likely made by them but maybe they did make a earlier version I am unfamiliar with..I run a 1974 50HP evinrude twin on mine and its dependable as they get,not the early 60s Johnson I have in the avitar photo,updating since that pic...

Great post Nugglet! I plan to tear down my Addictor 333 this winter. It's actually in great condition, but I am going to be transplanting a motor and pump from a 1200cc waverunner. This post will be a great reference. I also notice you are in Forest Lake. I am not far from you. I live in Edina, MN. Did you make any more progress on this boat since your last pics?
