It's not securely mounted yet, but finally got to see motor on the boat. I like how it fits and can't wait to run it. Under the driver side "windshiel" the guages are mounted on a piece of plywood that is weathered and looks terrible. What are people using for their dashboards? A friend suggested finding a totalled PWC with a good instrument cluster and fiberglass it in. Anyone tried this? Links to where I should look?017.jpg

search ..."hull extension in progress" it has a detailed fabrication of a dash in it...

great lakes skipper has instrument clusters.

also in the completed projects forum....hadraza has a great center console gauge cluster

Sorry, couldn't resist! Is it your actual trailer? It's obvious that the boat doesn't sit right on it...

I just bought the boat without a trailer, yes this will be the trailer for it, definitely needs adjustments. I'll address that the day I drop it in the water, only have to trailer it a few hundred yards. The hull is actually 11'4", do you think I could get away with a PWC lift for the lake?

I can't tell by the pic if it's possible but the simpliest way would be to move the winch post toward the back so the hull rest on the bunks.
