85' Johnson 140,trim box diagram needed or HELP

After my weak Merc. 85 blew I found a nice Johnson 140 pretty reasonable.After nothing was numbered or labeled somhow I have managed to figure out everything intill now.Having it mounted,steering,and running but this electic box is killing me.I know I have my selonoid wired properly but am not sure about my wires underneth it.If I could find out what wires go in what slot in the post under the selonoid I think I would have somthing.Right now,In both tilt and trim positions on my hand lever the pump makes noise,but doesnt move,with the engine running.Or could it be some type of relay?Your help is greatly needed,with respect....

This may help a little.
Plug in the make, year and model. Then look at the diagram for tilt / trim electrics. beyond that an OEM manual is your best bet.

BTW, no solenoid, just two relays.

No site offers just a diagram of the box itself? I hate to sound scared but that diagram looks intemadating,lol.....I'll give it a shot and thanks for the help guys!

That's not a 1985 box. Those are 1981 or older.

Your motor is 1979.

Agree, I have a 1985 140HP and that is not what is on mine.
